PCI DSS compliance, superior customer service, and cost-effective processing – an unbeatable combination you and your merchants can count on.

Our partnership with Element is a major, and growing, part of our value proposition. They provided a level of technology and a commitment to customer support we weren't seeing with our other vendor."

President and CEO,
Harms Software Inc.

John Harms, the president and CEO of Harms Software Inc., knows that merchants have a multitude of software companies from which to choose. That's why his vision is "to be more than just another software company" by playing a proactive and trusted role helping his customers grow their businesses.

For merchants to prosper and grow, Harms knows they must be protect sensitive cardholder data, and to comply with the PCI DSS data security requirements. That's why he has moved all of his customers to the Element Express Processing Platform.

Harms was introduced to Element Payment Services in the spring of 2007 by Massage Envy, a national franchisor of massage clinics which was standardizing on Harms' Millennium business management software. Massage Envy planned to standardize its 1,200 planned clinics on Element Express not only because it is PCI DSS compliant, but because unlike other solutions it doesn't require the installation of additional software on the clinics' servers

At first, "I was very skeptical," remembers Harms, but when he visited Element's Phoenix headquarters and met the development and product support team, "they provided a level of technology and a commitment to customer support we weren't seeing with our other vendor." Within a month of beginning work, Harms had integrated Element Express with Millennium, a job made easier by the fact that Element's "developers were very, very willing to work with us" and by Element's Web-based architecture.

Harms Software uses Element Express for its own payment card processing. His customers are also glad that Element doesn't charge the $900 upfront fee and the $150 per year support fee charged by the previous vendor, says Harms.

Moving to Element has been a major differentiator for his company, says Harms, because it allows him to deliver several major benefits to his merchants at the same time: PCI DSS compliance, superior customer service, and cost-effective processing. It also allows Harms Software "to go after big customers for whom a PCI DSS compliant platform is the cost of entry," he says. "Element Express is a major, and growing, part of our value proposition for our customers."
