Southern California's Glen Ivy Spas provide an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The Element Express Processing Platform gave Ryan Francis, the spa's system network administrator, an escape from crashed payment servers and complicated set up routines.
The Corona, CA. based spa network moved to Element when its software vendor, Harms Software Inc., integrated Element Express Processing Platform into Harm's Millennium business management software. Francis was immediately impressed to find that switching to Element required only checking a box in the familiar Millennium interface, and entering three different numbers to identify Glen Ivy as a merchant and allow it to process payments through Element Express.
Element Express is also easier to manage than his previous service, which required about two hours a week to maintain its software on a separate server. Once the initial setup was complete, Element Express simply runs with no ongoing maintenance or management. It's Web-based reporting also makes it much easier to view all the transactions for the day, and eliminated the manual labor associated with their previous processing service, which required him to "open another program and load the transactions for the day."
Customer service has also been a pleasant change, he says. With his former vendor, he had to provide a customer ID number before anyone would even speak with him. With Element, he says, he has the email addresses of specific staff members who will respond to his questions almost immediately and with the right answer.
Finally, he says, replacing their previous payment service with Element has reduced their per-transaction charges from 50 cents to seven cents, he says.
Francis may be a spa employee rather than a customer, but the Element Express Processing Platform has reduced the time, stress and cost he once went through.
